Today, the Local Government Unit of Labason, headed by Hon. Mayor Jelster Ed T. Quimbo, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the soon-to-rise Mini Covered Court at Patawag Elementary School.
Originally envisioned and funded during the administration of former Governor Roberto Y. Uy, the project unfortunately faced delays in recent years. Today, we are proud to announce that the initiative has been revived under the leadership of his son, our current Provincial Governor, fulfilling his father's vision for the students of Barangay Patawag, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte.

Each local governing body is led by a designated chairman, whose core responsibility is to champion and present carefully crafted resolutions and comprehensive development programs tailored to advance the unique needs and progress of their respective communities. These initiatives are designed to strengthen the local governance system, streamline operational processes, and ensure that growth aligns with the specific context and aspirations of the people they serve.
